The Scrapbooks
The photos shown here are digitized images from the scrapbooks in the Wetzel County Museum's collection. Each scrapbook was donated to the museum and is housed in the museum's collection storage but for the first time ever, we are making these images available to the public. Take your time browsing through the images and learning about some pieces of history you may not have known before. The scrapbooks cover a wide range of history from local, to national, to international events and peoples.
Some images are explicit (images depicting war and death).
This project is a work in progress - our collection has yet to be fully digitized but we aim to have it completed by the end of 2018.
If you have any scrapbooks or historic objects that you would like to donate to the museum feel free to bring it by to see if it will fit with our collection.
